Job Description
Quality Assurance Engineering - SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
Creates and maintains the automated test scripts in accordance with the testing framework and executes the test plan and maintains the test plan.
Develop Test Automation
Work with the Test Integrator to Build and Deploy automated testing capabilities across the CI/CD pipeline
Capture the results of automated testing so that they can be consumed by the release team
Execute Test
Run the tests defined within the test plan
Coordinate the development and re-use of test code with the help of the Test Integrator
Fix defects in the test code
Fix defects in the test code provided by in-house or third-party developers as necessary
Monitor the test execution to quickly identify and remediate issues with the test code
Owns the regression test suite
Develop and maintain regression test cases and test code to allow for complete regression testing before moving changes to production
Work with the Test Integrator to find re-use opportunities and consolidate the regression suite.
Hiring Requirements
Must be a graduate or a Bachelor's degree holder of any IT related course.
Must have at least 2+ years relevant experience to the role.
Must Have Skills:
At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a test automation engineer
At least 2+ years of relevant experience on automated testing development for Web, API, Mobile, or SAP for any of the following tools/frameworks (Selenium, Robot Framework, UFT, Appium, Tosca, etc.)
At least2+ years of experience working with Java, Python and/or JavaScript
Experience with Software testing/QA Methodology
Experience with Waterfall and/or Agile(SCRUM techniques) methodology
Experience in Functional and non-functional testing
Able to manage and execute project tasks on timely and effectively manner
Excellent analytical thinking and has an ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excellent time management and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with PlayWright
Experience working with any test management tool like QTest, Jira or ALM
Experience in performance testing using JMeter or any Performance testing tool.
Experience working with Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Azure & etc
Knowledge on Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery & Deployment (DevOps)
Knowledge on Cloud computing (Infrastructure)
Experience on various automation tools - open source or off-the-shelf tools
Understanding of the Telco Industry
Academic Qualification/ Professional Certification
ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification (nice to have)
Or any certifications related to software testing
