WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Responsible to establish and manage material Shelf life control and Incoming printed NTM control process in the factory. The incumbent is Back-up Factory Approver to assure the Change Order Status in SAP is being performed by all view maintainers in the factory no longer than within 4 days. She/he to coordinate quality-related activities for New Product Development (NPD) with R&D and factory cross-function departments. The incumbent is responsible to manage the quality samples sent for R&D evaluation was done on time.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to monitor SAP shelf life on all TM and NTM and carry Quality Inspection batch release in SAP in order to assure FIFO for material consumption. Responsible to coordinate Regulatory Compliance for Primary J-SOX/Swiss SOX with reporting the finished goods and tobacco materials with the status "Quality Inspection stock" can still be used or sold or obsolete for the inventor in 1799 entity. Responsible to extend the shelf life in SAP for NTM and Tobacco material on time after R&D confirmation and following JTI guidelines. Reports quarterly basis the Blocked and Restricted-Use stock for finished goods and tobacco material write-off. Responsible to coordinate the internal return material management process within Factory.
In order to perform accurate Incoming Printed Material Inspection, the incumbent is responsible to request from R&D the required printed material Color Standard for each SKU. For new SKU/product the printed material color standard and die print color standard is to be ready and exist in the factory minimum of 1 week prior to the new product launch date mentioned in PSR.
Responsible to maintain departmental ISO documentation is timely updated for Quality Assurance procedure when the procedure is changed. Assures full compliance to EHS SOP requirements and standards in daily operations. Responsible for working in an injury-free environment. Responsible to coordinate NTM-related complaints from Shah Alam gathering complaint detailed information to address local PPO actions and handling QIMS NTM Module in the factory.
Responsible to support the quality samples to be sent on time and properly labeled in order to avoid evaluation delay and evaluation mistakes: monthly TI samples, First production samples, Pre-shipments samples, NPD samples, and other test samples. Responsible to prepare and conduct the quality training related to the Quality Assurance work scope. Support QI and QC team with any other tasks which request his/her involvement.
Take full accountability for the safety measure in maintaining ZERO LTI in the factory as well as performing the tasks in a safe and good environment manner.
Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations, and work performance instructions.
Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training, and receive
appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters,
warning signals, and written directions and instructions. * Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all
applicable health and safety rules and procedures. * Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor, and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in any course
Minimum 3-5 years experience working in Quality Control in a Manufacturing environment
Knowledge in SAP system
Good command of speaking and writing English language; will communicate with global internal stakeholders
Good interpersonal skills in terms of liaison with R&D and material suppliers.
Able to plan and organize independently.
