Coordinates with Supervisor with the implementation of food safety programs and conducts internal food safety audits.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Compliance to NMIS and FDA regulatory requirement
Food Safety Implementation and Audit
NMIS/FDA Accreditation
Ensures Compliance to food safety standards of NMIS and FDA.
Take a lead in the implementation of GMP and other food safety programs.
Checks product quality (in processed and finish goods.
Monitors temperature of processing area, cut-floor area, blast freezer, holding room, ante room and cold storage
Coordinates with 3PL pest control service provider and monitor their service efficiency.
Performs and Provide quality inspection report.
Conducts internal GMP/HACCP audit.
Initiates food safety programs and improve the process overtime.
Represents Alfa in any government-initiated Food Safety Conferences.
2.Food Micro Analysis
Schedules and performs microbial analysis of raw materials and finished goods as well as for FCS and personnel (swab test).
3.Product Evaluation
Evaluate products as required.
4.Value Added Product Development
Introduce improvements on product quality.
Communicate with various food ingredients supplier.

Ability to develop and deliver written information to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the message.
Ability to demonstrate this competency in, in making written food safety and audit reports, grammar/usage, persuasive/logical organization of ideas, etc.
Ability to convey information orally to individuals or groups to ensure that they understand the message. Ability to express oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others

JOB REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor Degree/ College graduate of Food Technology, BS Chemistry or any related course.
Preferably with experience in food manufacturing and micro lab analysis.
Amenable to work in Mandaue, Cebu
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in Production and Cut-floor area, Office, Laboratory, WWTF etc.
Exposure to wet, humid to cold condition.
Exposure to sharp equipment or tools.
