Description * Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Description
Under the General supervision of QA Supervisor under QA Department, will be engaged in the analysis of all product related testing. Ensuring that all in-process testing of product variants conforms to the standards of QA Department, responsible in ensuring that all finished goods complies to the set standards of R&D Department before releasing it to consumer, responsible in ensuring cleanliness and safety of all laboratory equipment used in physio-chemical analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate physio-chemical and sensory analysis of in-process materials before mixing, cooking, filling, packing and immediately report any deviation noted to the line QC Inspector, Production Process Engineers, and Production Head for Necessary adjustments and corrective measures.
Properly recording all physio-chemical and sensory analysis results in in-process and FG monitoring forms. Writing all the details including date, time, batch number, results and the space for evaluated by. Filing all monitoring forms monthly for systematic tracing information.
Performs Pasteurization of drained pickle syrup based on the production plan. Executes the trial and error process to attain desired parameters of the pasteurized syrup guided by the standard procedure and calculation. Also, responsible in checking of the syrup before returning the pickle meat with that of the pasteurized syrup.
Provide release tags to specified KPR's (Key Personnel Responsible) of products that are good for release
Ensure cleanliness and safety of all laboratory equipments used in the physio-chemical analysis like pH meter, auto zeroing burette, moisture analyzer, viscometer, and other laboratory glasswares.
Performs daily calibration of equipment like pH meter to make sure that it is properly working.
Preparation of needed reagents like potassium dichromate, silver nitrate solution, sodium hydroxide solution, phenolphthalein for daily requirements of in-process testing
Performs weekly standardization of reagents such as sodium hydroxide and silver nitrate solution, which is the main reagents used in product testing, for accurate testing of samples
Requisition to warehouse and issuance of cleaning chemicals such as abrade, Closan, Ethyl alcohol (sanitizer), disinfectant, gloves to different production plants for specific purposes. Also, responsible in issuance of first aid medicines to production staff and other employees
Preparation of needed food color for ESM (Egg Spice Mix) and food color of various starch paste variants.
Secures all confidential files such us ICR's (Ingridient Control Report), In-process monitoring forms, finished goods monitoring forms, IMIR's (Incoming Material Inspection Report) and other files inside the laboratory should be properly kept, filed and labeled on a monthly basis.
Always ensure cleanliness and orderliness of QA Laboratory (Mayo and Catsup).
Monitor monthly inventory of the reagents and other chemicals used in physio-chemical analysis. Takes charge in the requisition of laboratory reagents used in the analysis.
Monthly Inspection of 2-month old QA retain samples in retain sample area
Provide Correct Certificate of Analysis to specific customers which requires analysis based on in-process and finished goods testing.
Qualifications:
Food Technology graduate or any related
Must have knowledge in laboratory such as testing, monitoring, analyzing etc.
Compliant in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Must be keen to details
