Hongkong Multinational Garment Manufacturer
The ideal candidate is mature with a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality control and assurance systems of the factory through regular involvement on all aspect of production from arrival of materials to shipment of the products, conduct internal audits, face buyers for Technical audit, factory evaluation, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Evaluate Fit/PP/TOP Samples
• Conduct PPM, Pilot review, Inline Inspection & Pre-Final inspection
• Trains & supports QC inspection for best decision
• Maintains Quality Management System of the factory
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Able to identify quality issues through root cause analysis, preparation of Corrective & Preventive action.
• Other duties that maybe required based on buyer requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Garments Manufacturing preferably sweater
• 5+ years' relevant work experience in garments production
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Technical knowledge to influence production for quality improvement
• Mature, self motivated, pro-active, self starter and able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• With accountablity and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS office operation (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email Outlook, etc.)
• High level of integrity
