WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferably with relevant work experience in laboratory and analytical works. Open for entry level. Has knowledge and exposure on Quality Management Systems ie., GMP, GLP, HACCP and Food Safety.
B. SCOPE OF WORK
I. POSITION BRIEF
Seaweeds analyst will be responsible for over-all physic-chemical analyst of raw seaweeds
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Performs receiving inspection report
2. Analyses the quality of raw seaweeds
Analyze the appearance of seaweeds
Analyze the water gel strength
Analyze the potassium gel strength
Analyze the calcium gel strength
Analyze viscosity of seaweeds using viscometer
Analyze Moisture Content
Analyze CAW ratio
Analyze Yield determination, sand and salt percentage
Analyze Moisture loss thru solar drying
3. Responsible for receiving, storage & quality checking of all SW deliveries & update QC results per supplier to SW Team & immediate superior.
III. ESSENTIAL PROCESSES
1. Coordinates with Seaweeds Jr Supervisor about the quality of incoming SW deliveries for the week.
2. Received SW delivery from Supplier with the use of Advice issued by Purchasing Team incase SW specialist is out. Upon unloading, conduct ocular Quality checking of all bags unloaded. Update QC result to SW Purchasing Team & immediate supervisor.
- Prepares & fill up, SW Quality result
- Updates locator board & map
3. Provides recommendation to SW Jr Supervisor on SW allocated for export shipment and or local deliveries to PBI.
- Prepares ATD & gate pass for exit of goods allotted for local & export deliveries.
4. Ensures that all tests are compliance with the standard procedures. Able to maintain data accurate and with integrity
5. Conduct calibration and verification
6. Ensures Good Laboratory Practices are properly implement
7. Always Proper Protective Equipment as necessary and application
8. At all times adhere to food safety policies and guidelines.
