Job Summary
Oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process. Recommends changes in specifications of materials and products based on inspection results. May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures. Thorough knowledge of the team processes.
Job Qualifications:
Single/married
Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry or equivalent
At least 1 year of working experience as QA/QC and related field is required for this position
Preferably with supervisory experience specializing in Food Manufacturing or any Production Operations
Committed team player, proactive and highly technical
Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint
With good leadership qualities and effective decision-making skills
Excellent both in written and verbal communication skills
Result oriented and highly motivated
Can work with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
Organize, direct and lead the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices, achievement of Quality and Food Safety standard
Documentation of Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to Product Quality, food safety and sanitation
Interact with internal departments and facilitate QA operations
Collect, analyze and oversee data entry on relevant quality performance indicators
Supervise the workloads of QC on-line
Conducts plant hygiene audit and monitor compliance
Attend to customer product complaints
Attend to FDA inspectors, sanitary inspectors and other regulatory body
Maintain and facilitate GMP seminars to all employees
Provide leadership to QC staff
Provide adequate solution to any quality issues
Check and monitor QC in process report
Check and monitor QC Auto pack report
Conducting sensory evaluation on actual product
