Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, organizes and controls the daily operation of the Quality Control Section.
· Guides and monitors the daily performance, as well as compliance to the company's rule and regulations of QC Staff, Group Leader, Inspectors, and Operators. Make sure that the subordinates received the trainings needed to properly carry out their job assignments.
· Evaluates the manpower requirement of the section and proposes adjustments when necessary.
· Ensures that all applicable inspection procedures are implemented correctly and efficiently to meet the specified quality standards.
· Coordinates with customers and suppliers regarding product specifications required quality standards and other matters concerning product quality assurance.
· Evaluate effectiveness of current procedures and constantly seek ways to further improve the quality system of the company.
· Coordinates with the production department on the product and process having non-conformance and recommend remedial actions including but not limited to modifications of processes, products or QC standards where warranted.
· To report to QA/QC Manager on the daily quality status and problems encountered.
Requirements and Skills:
· Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, etc.)
· Engineering License holder is an advantage but not required.
· With at least 5 years' working experience in an Electronics Manufacturing Company set- up.
· Knowledgeable in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
· Residing in Calamba, Laguna or nearside.
