Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
Chemical Technician License is required
Experience in quality control of bituminous products
Knowledge of road construction techniques and construction materials
Strong English and local dialect communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and general computer operations
Responsibilities:
Verify the quality of raw materials used for emulsion production
Conduct trial/lab blending of emulsions and select asphalt feedstock suitable for emulsion use
Perform QA/QC and R&D tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
Provide technical support to sales, operations, and customers regarding quality and technical concerns
Adhere to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines
Report to the Asphalt Plant Technical & Plant Manager
