Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage tasks pertaining to Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures and pest control measures to ensure quality of finished products and by-products
Take control of Quality Assurance and effective control in procurement/buyback of plant products by way of verification in receiving, drying, storing, milling, packaging, and monitoring of finished products.
Ensure quality of palay and finished products and by-products at all times; strictly adhere to a local and international regulatory compliance standard
Conduct quality assessment and inspection of palay at the field, ensure quality and intrinsic characteristics of palay during procurement/buyback and milling
Prepare a report on the analysis of the quality of palay received and milled rice output; provide recommendations to ensure conformance to standard specifications
Take the lead and manage pest control activities such as fumigation, spraying, and fogging as necessary; ensure a level of infection is kept at a minimum or none at all
Manage the maintenance of all equipment related to quality control and pest control; report any maintenance issue and ensure corrective maintenance action is taken
Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
