Job Summary To perform routine as well as non-routine evaluation of raw materials and finished feeds. To ensure to get familiar with standard analytical laboratory procedure and equipment usage.Duties and Responsibilities: Perform chemical tests in the laboratory on samples submitted in accordance with the standard laboratory procedures. Record test results and maintained quality/quantity standards by ensuring that all requirements were met. Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment. Ensure efficient laboratory equipment performance and safe working environment. Assist the QA Laboratory Manager in updating the Lab Safety Plan/Manual. Assist in establishing quality standards, developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on laboratory equipment. Calibrate laboratory instruments as needed. Ensure cleanliness in the laboratory by follwing 5S Follow the safety rules for all personnel working in the laboratory. Validate laboratory procedures to determine the need to update the Lab Procedure Manual Develop new laboratory test procedures, methods, and instrumentation, by researching new alternatives preparing proposals developing and performing parallel testing Represent the department and present Weekly Progress Report on needed. Assist in the preparation of Monthly Laboratory Cost of Analysis. Train new supervisory trainees. Perform related duties as assigned.
