Key Accountabilities
Perform inspections and testing of materials as defined in the Quality plan using standard test methods and equipment.
Conduct analysis and monitoring of process and quality parameters during printing, lamination and slitting operations to ensure production of good and safe laminates
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing, generate Certificate of Inspection (CoI).
Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as per audit standards.
Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
Monitor testing equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration.
Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
Assist in the creation and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
Analyse potential problem and determine possible cause of defects and make necessary recommendations.
Taking the lead in the implementation of GMP and Product Safety Policies.
Train newly hires QA Inspector.
Facilitate quality and product safety trainings / orientations such as GMP and HACCP.
Perform other tasks as assigned by his/her superior.
The need to be technically knowledgeable and capable on quality systems and the requirements of quality management systems
The need to train your team in safe and efficient operation of the lab equipment they are using
Assisting the OHS&E Manager in the implementation of OHS&E policies and procedures in your area
To work with the Operations Manager on defining and implementing Best Practice in all aspects of the Quality systems
Dealing with any customer compliants and ensuring through investigation and corrective actions to prevent reoccurance
Dealing with any supplier complaints in conjuction with the Purchasing department to ensure corrective actions are effective and prevent reoccurance
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemistry.
Must be a Licensed Chemist.
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Working knowledge in the Operation of GC and other material testing equipment laminates production particularly in printing and lamination, quality systems such as ISO9001, GMP and HACCP.
Auditing skills and FSSC knowledge is an advantage.,
Can operate laboratory equipment (GC, WVTR, etc. )
