QA EngineerNT Philippines, Inc.

1. Handles customer complaints, RMA and customer feedback with the use and guidance of 8D methodology, NFLD's Agile CCAR/ INTCAR and NT-CAR processes.
2. Updates generic FVI FMEA and Process FMEA for CCAR/ INTCAR/ CAR-based product quality issues.
3. Initiates corrective and preventive action request per superior's concurrence and/or directive. Evaluates and identifies maverick/ low yield issues needing corrective and preventive action warrant, e.g., high $ scrap value, screw-up or mis-operation failures, potential customer complaint and/or potential field failure. Conducts data analysis and investigation of NFLD and NT issues in the determination process.
4. Handles maverick issues through the NCPR process and in collaboration with NFLD and NT MRB as appropriate, i.e., providing disposition and release instruction to affected lots.
5. Determines, reviews and collaborates with concerned party the customers' requirements for quality throughout the life cycle of the product.
a. Quality in forms of criteria, dimensional measurement specifications and other requirements such as reject marking, number of allowed X-outs, etc.
b. Product life cycle is from NPI to serial production and during events or circumstances of maverick issues, failed set-up validation, Picture Page revision, process feedback, customer complaints, RMA and customer feedback.
6. Translates customer quality requirements in forms inspection / measurement / reliability test plans, methods and control limits, more particularly;
a. Inspection WIS/ Procedure, Measurement Summary Template or Smartscope program, Document alert, Re-inspection/ rework traveler, Criteria limit samples, Blanking limit samples and Minitab control charts to implement and support effective detection and measurement required for;
b. New Product Introduction, Engineering changes during serial production or Changes due to internal and external issues
7. Performs Document Alert/ WIS/ Procedure training to Champion. Champion refers to the person who is responsible to the implementation of the instruction.
8. Conducts new PP or new criteria training to QAE trainer-appointee. Participates in the process training and certification to newly hires, i.e., training evaluation or validation.
9. Performs tasks and activities required for in the advanced product quality planning and process validation processes, e.g., Attending meetings, MSA, First Article Inspection, NPI Top Defects, reviews and update of "pre-launch" product specific PF/ CP/ PFMEA
10. Other responsibilities include;
a. The review and update of product specific PF/ CP/ PFMEA in preparing and readying for customer audit.
b. Prepares engineering or equivalent reports for a specific purpose, e.g., proposing for a solution, seeking for a decision, etc.
c. Adherence or observance to the company values, rules and regulations as well as the SOPs and policies set forth in the QEHS/LE Management System, e.g., Team work, Communication, Continuous improvement, Administrative policies, 5S policies, CCAR/INTCAR/CAR responsiveness, etc.
d. Participates in the company events and activities such as Small Group Activity (SGA), Internal Kaizen Week (IKW), Yield Improvement, Internal Audit, SHEPR, Social responsibility, Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO), or Sports fest by being a team leader, chairman or team member.
