Job Title
QA ENGINEER (CALIBRATION)
Reports To
Service Unit Supervisor
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the activities carried out in QA for inspection & testing, of instruments/ equipment, compliance at various stages of calibration & testing, quality assurance and release of equipment after approval from Manager.
Overall responsible for quality control, guidance and directions of quality assurance department working including planning development and day to day operation.
To ensure corrective actions on identified non conformity.
To maintain the Quality Management System original documents.
Identification of risk and opportunities.
Setting of Improvement Objectives and monitoring the performance of set targets.
Up keeping Quality Management System records to demonstrate performance.
Responsible for ensuring evaluating material / equipment receiving from external sources pertains to MS.
Scheduling and Implementing and verifying Management System performance with Internal Audits as per standard requirements.
To nominate/include/exclude internal auditors and providing guidelines / information to the internal team of internal auditors.
Preparing the plan of Proficiency test plan as per required of ISO 17025.
Verifying the calibration test uncertainty result.
Preparing the working instruction and manual of test/calibration procedure.
Updating the local and international standard like ASTM, SASO, IEC, ANSI and others.
Establishes an audit schedule and communicates the same to the concerned personnel.
Audits the quality management system periodically to assure compliance.
Analyzes non-conformance reports and informs relevant users for the corrective and preventive action/s.
Maintains the laboratory quality management system documents.
Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years' experience; mainly in calibration process, and particulars in :
1. Calibration of electrical parameters, temperature, pressure & dimensions.
2. Instrumentation scheme, equipment repair, technical oriented in testing of electrical
3. Internal auditor as per ISO 17025 reference, Metrology awareness.
4. Knowledgeable on different ISO standards like ASTM, IEC, ANSI, etc. and preparing technical reports
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Problem solving and analytical ability, leadership, Technical competency, Computer literate, Driving
Is a metrologies who has completed the required level of calibration training as specified in accreditation requirements for the level at which the laboratory maintains accreditation
Education Requirement
Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (5yrs Min.)
