Job Description
You will be a part of a solid test automation organization experienced in Agile-, XP- and BDD principles and e-commerce solutions.
You will start and create our automation practice in the Philippines, helping us find the suitable candidates to develop a successful and highly performant test automation team.
Helping interviewing candidates
Help maintaining the team happy and engaged.
Adapt our practice and methodology to suite the local standard way of working
Help the team members improve and answer both their technical and non-technical questions
Collaborate closely with the QA director to keep the practice align with our other locations.
Qualifications
You know what Scrum, BDD, TDD and test-automation is. You like working cross-functionally with colleagues and customers.
You have experience managing a team, you are proactive, easily adaptable to changes, you put your team first and take ownership of your tasks.
The educational background should be relevant to computer science, software engineering, IT Product development, IT related area or similar education.
Must-haves
There are a few things we believe are must-haves:
4+ years working as Test Automation Engineer or a Software developer in test
2+ years managing a test automation team
Experience with TDD and BDD
Experience with in-sprint testing
Experience with one or more languages: Javascript, Typescript, Ruby
Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT
An agile mindset (Agile Software Development Lifecycle Processes and Methodologies)
ISTQB Foundation certification
Experience in defining and implementing test automation solutions using one or more of the following: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Cypress, SoapUI, Postman, Protractor, Jmeter, LoadRunner, VisualStudio Load Test, Grinder, Gatling
Work experience with JIRA or any project management software
Experience performing UAT and dealing with stakeholders
Experience with deployment and automation tools just as Jenkins
Cloud hosted testing solutions such as Sauce Labs, Amazon, or Browserstack
