About the role:
3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and executing the test automation
scripts using Selenium - Java technology to mainly automate web applications, file
import, reports, data validation against the database and other requirements
In-depth knowledge and skills in using the technologies for automation such as Selenium
- Java, Cucumber, TestNG, Jenkins, JUnit
Working knowledge in Jenkins to schedule the jobs for the automated tests built and
integrate with the application deployment process
Possess strong skill set in SQL and database such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server and/or
Oracle
Manage version control in GitLab
Demonstrate a solid understanding of the requirements and do test cases analysis of the
applications for automated testing
Build test reports of the test automation and analyze the results if there are any failures
Good coordination skills with other teams in gathering the requirement details for
automation and raising any issues or bugs for resolution
Knowledgeable in using JIRA
Familiar with Agile methodologies
API automation and JMeter Load Testing experience is a plus.
Exposure to performance/load/stress testing is good to have.
Problem-solving attitude
Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
