JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible in performing laboratory and analytical procedures to provide disposition of in-process and finished goods of butter, margarine, cheese, and salad aids in conformance with Magnolia Inc. specifications and written Quality Plan or laboratory procedures. This also includes product inspection and other conformance checks, and the preparation, collation, and submission of necessary analytical reports and records to provide disposition of products. The QA Assistant (QA Asst.) is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of laboratory equipment, tools, glass wares, QA samples, records, and other laboratory facilities. As well as assisting in managing the section's resources to support departmental objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
KPA1: Quality Assurance Laboratory Management
Executes and implements good laboratory practices to guarantee integrity of test results, proper maintenance of laboratory equipment, and ensure continuous laboratory operation.
KPA-2: Finished Goods Disposition and Service
Provides timely results of evaluation, functionality, and product application tests to ensure smooth finished goods disposition.
KPA-3: Technical Training and Development
Contributes to the section's continual individual development and participates to all Company programs related to customer satisfaction, quality, food safety and regulatory requirements.
KPA-4: Warehouse compliance
Conducts Warehouse audits to verify conformance to product storage and handling requirements and compliance to applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.
KPA-5: Budget Management
Assists in monitoring and implementing budget of the section to ensure resources are adequate for smooth QA operations.
