QA ANALYST
 
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Fresh Graduate Professionals
At least 6 months of experience Analyst in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing and Dairy Manufacturing
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
BS Biology major in Microbiology, BS Chemistry, BS Food Technology, or any Food Science-allied courses
COMPETENCY PROFILE:
Licensed Microbiologist, Food Technologist, Chemist or Chemical Technician is an advantage.
Knows how to navigate basic Microsoft Office software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point 
Knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Warehousing Practices, and Good Laboratory Practices
Knowledgeable in Physicochemical and Microbial Tests
Has the ability to write technical reports.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs evaluation and/or assessment of results before, during and after tests.
Checks and reviews results of analysis to ensure consistency to specifications
Ensures systematic workflow by proper timing of assigned laboratory tests in order of priority
Ensures timely delivery of test results
Reviews Laboratory Test Reports or Certificates of Analysis
Ensures complete and updated record of all test results and necessary documents
Ensures all samples tested are retained according to the assigned retention frequency
Ensures proper usage, monitoring, cleanliness, and proper storage of all laboratory reagents, instruments and equipment.
Ensures adequate amount of laboratory supplies. Prepares and submits requisition for stock replenishment in order to ensure timely delivery and to avoid delay in testing
Ensures calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of all laboratory instrument and equipment are updated and/or performed. Evaluates erroneous outcomes and acts on them immediately.
Maintains designated workplace in accordance to standards for housekeeping, health, safety, security, and environmental protection
Assist Supervisor in assessment and procurement of new laboratory equipment, troubleshoot, clean and maintain laboratory equipment supplies.
Performs other related functions/duties or as the situation dictate
