Job Description
The QA Analyst is responsible for assuring that the feeds produced conforms to specification. The position is also responsible for proper sampling and analysis of incoming raw materials. The position will also assist in the implementation and documentation involving ISO, HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Standards Management
Conducts inspection, analysis and disposition of incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
Conducts inspection, analysis and disposition of finished feeds to determine conformance to specifications and records inspection details.
Cost Management
Ensures in-house analysis are conducted and chemical/consumables usage are properly monitored.
Record Management
Manages and Maintains a recording system of all analysis results of finished feeds and raw materials used for easy retrieval and reference.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry
Preferably Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in related work is preferred but not necessary.
SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES
I. Entry Level
Working knowledge of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
Ability to communicate and articulate ideas both verbally and in writing.
Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of company-authorized softwares.
