Job Description
Job Summary:
Conduct physico-chemical, sensory, and other appropriate tests on raw and/or packaging materials, in-process materials and Butter, Margarine, Cheese, and Salad Aids finished products to determine conformance to specified plant quality system and customer requirements.
Assist in the implementation of plant quality and food safety system through the conduct of conformance audits and other related audits.
Interprets technical specifications and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and translates these parameters and requirements to quality plan to ensure consistent results.
Ensures that processes are documented and conforms to standards and customer requirements and complies with regulatory requirements.
Provide advice and assist in addressing quality and food safety related concerns and quality improvement programs.
Assists the QA Supervisor in ensuring conformance of the Section to the analytical standards and related quality systems such as FSSC, GMP, SSOP, HACCP and other related systems.
Conducts technology scanning and research in related technical fields relevant to the improvement of the analytical procedures, manufacturing process and quality improvement. This includes assistance to the QA Supervisor in the sourcing, evaluation, adaptation of test methodologies, equipment, and testing facilities.
Supports QA Supervisor in meeting financial, quality and food safety targets.
