PURCHASING SUPERVISOR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a graduate of BS- Industrial Engineering
With 3-5 years in Manufacturing Industry
Knowledgeable on Strategic Sourcing , Cost-Benefit Analysis, Supply Chain Management and Inventory Analysis.
Ability to work under pressure (in an extremely fast paced environment), meet deadlines (overtime work required) and make effective decisions.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office applications) and computer-based applications).
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to details.
Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
Must be able to effectively communicate ideas (verbally and in writing), be a self-starter and handle difficult reporting situations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
Review Product Planning, Inventory Control and Purchasing Process
Supervises the daily activities of the purchasing function.
Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for more complex purchase order.
Evaluates and analyses purchasing trends and price trends to identify forecasting demand and minimize purchasing costs.
Have initiative to contribute to the development of processes and procedures.
Check Regular inventory.
Must see to it that delivery is on time.
Must overlook that no overstock or out of stock supplies.
Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities
Must coordinate with Suppliers payment.
Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
Preparing documents and updating records.
