Job Description
Develop purchasing strategies, maintain positive relationship with suppliers, coordinates with other departments or branches regarding their needs and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities of purchasing products, services and equipment and sourcing suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
Manage daily purchasing activities and supervising staff.
Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices and timeliness, etc.
Coordinate with other departments regarding their needs.
Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates and managing budgets.
Approving purchase orders.
Work to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Qualifications:
A graduate of Engineering or any Business related background.
At least 1 to 3 years of experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
Have knowledge or experience of purchasing processes, policy and systems.
Excellent attention to details and in depth understanding in the business process.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
Computer Literate.
