An established export and manufacturing company situated in Kagudoy Road Basak Lapu-lapu City is in urgent need of:
 
PURCHASING PLANNER
 
The position:
Checks and ensures complete materials specifications before sending out for quotation. 
Create a Buy Plan for different raw materials based on the forecast issued by the Purchasing Manager.
Requests quotations or RFQ of requested materials from potential and established suppliers.
Analyze and evaluate quotes
Execute purchase orders based on the Buy Plan for raw materials or based on Purchase Request.
Issue Purchase Order to qualified suppliers.
Follow-up and monitor supplier’s delivery commitment
Ensure on-time communication with suppliers especially pertaining to changes of specifications
Managing Supplier’s quality and delivery performance.
Maintaining Purchasing Records and contract administration. 
Responsible Supplier Sourcing. Must establish and maintain integrity and professionalism in work and in dealing with suppliers while continually negotiating to obtain favorable pricing and payment terms.
Communicate and coordinate to related departments in order to source out information pertaining to the specs of the items developed and produced by PEBA.
The person:
Graduate of any business related course, information and communication and engineering degree 
Three (3) years working experience in planning and other purchasing tasks 
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
With a high level of urgency, energy and motivation
With strong background in materials management and planning
Has the ability to mobilize people and other resources
Keen to details, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
