JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Purchasing and Planning Manager, administers, plans, and controls the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing Section in accordance with the Purchasing Quality Management System (QMS).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Leads the implementation of the Supplier and Toll Manufacturer Accreditation process by monitoring the team and suppliers' compliance to set policies and procedures to ensure that purchases are made from accredited partners.
Implements the measurement and evaluation of supplier performance through supplier evaluation and audit policies and procedures to ensure that suppliers consistently meet the company's standards.
Recognizes outstanding suppliers through planning for and leading the whole Supplier Award Program process and event.
Ensures proper awarding of bids and implementation of the Supply Agreement (SA) conditions through proper execution of the Contract Management Process.
Executes departmental cost saving strategies by monitoring and analyzing the cost of supplies to achieve the company's budgetary goals.
Ensures on-time and accurate releasing of items by monitoring the proper execution of import/export processes to support requirements of the company.
Supports new product development and product rationalization efforts by careful planning of raw and packaging material purchases and helps ensure on time product launching.
Manages relationships with suppliers and toll manufacturers through constant communication to avoid miscommunication and conflicts
Continuously monitors performance of the team by conducting regular performance reviews to provide improvement or sustain good performance.
Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements:
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
Graduate of any business course with at least 5 years related work experience, 2 years of which in a supervisory capacity, preferably gained from the field of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing.
Salary: ₱35000 - ₱40000
