PURCHASING OFFICER
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our team. This role supports the procurement needs of our real estate operations and occasionally covers purchasing for construction materials.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
Manage purchasing for office needs, project supplies, and construction-related materials.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to meet procurement needs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, invoices, and inventory levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable and consistent supply.
Ensure timely delivery and availability of materials for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Assist in identifying cost-saving initiatives and improving purchasing processes.
Uphold internal controls and compliance with company procurement policies.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
Familiarity with construction materials and supplier sourcing is highly preferred.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven record of honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in previous roles.
Willing to undergo comprehensive background checking as part of the recruitment process.
