PURCHASING OFFICER
 
Job description
Bachelor's degree in Accounting graduate or any related field such as banking, finance, business administration.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks.
Working knowledge of accounting standards and relevant regulations.
General understanding of accounts receivable and billing processing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Strong communication skills are a must.
Excellent analytical skill and ability to meet processing deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong customer service and client relationship building skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent in evaluating suppliers before making purchasing decisions. This involves traveling to the supplier's location and examining their products, as well as interviewing the decision makers on the supplier's team to learn why their supplier is the best choice.
Excellent in comparing suppliers using cost- benefit analysis, etc.
Excellent in negotiating with suppliers on behalf of employer.
