Job Description
Graduate of any Bachelor's degree.
With minimum of 5 years experience in material, construction, or
general service procurement.
Must possess highest degree of integrity and professionalism;
mature; analytical; goal oriented and with strong negotiation skills;
strong communicator in English and can relate with foreign and local
counterparts.
Computer literate and knowledge in data base management.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain
activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution and ensure effectively
functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
2. Perform all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiation of
supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management.
3. Ensure full compliance of procurement activities with Company ethic rules and
ISO.
4. Control all purchases of equipment, materials and construction and
administrative services based on the approved requests by the different
Departments of the Company.
5. Establish and manage procurement database, including information of
vendors/suppliers, price records, evaluation rate, technical information and all
other necessary information needed.
6. Formulate control procedure as necessary in order to ensure that purchase of
goods and services are for the best interest of the Company as well as
formulate back-up procedure to avoid disruption of construction works at site.
7. Responsible for introducing improvements in the supply chain and identify new
vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing compliance to Company rules and
procedures.
Group8. Manage and supervise the operation (inventory, safekeeping and issuance) of
the equipment and materials in the main warehouse area. Evaluate inventory
at the warehouse and recommend disposal of scrap materials as needed.
9. Reports to Management any material movement of prices and significant
movement in the market affecting the operations of the Company.
