Description
• Monitors Imports Shipping Activity from the originating country to port of arrival
• Ensure completeness of documents for releasing process (both for banks and broker's use)
• Maintain imports shipment monitoring report for tracking of status and tractability of each shipment
• Prepare documents for ICC Application and monitor issuance of ICC certificate and stickers
• Sending advisory to warehouse destinations prior to container arrival
• Maintain filers for each shipment
• Checking of brokerage billing, testing bills
• Prepare RCCP (Req. for cash /check payment) for all imports related payables
• Updated department head from time to time for any issues concerning shipments, documentations, DTI/ICC matters, brokerage, testing of items & likes.
• Responsible for all purchasing activities including sourcing, contract negotiation and expediting delivery schedule
• Coordinating with suppliers and forwarders in shipping and customs processes and procedures related to importation, on timely delivery of materials.
• Issuing purchase orders for local and overseas purchases.
• Establish and maintain an independent supplier's performance monitoring systems to ensure compliance with performance & quality standards & maintain close liason with suppliers
• Implement a logistic system to manage outgoing and incoming goods.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels for all products coordinating with third party warehouse for slow and fast moving goods
Qualifications
• Graduate of Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain Management or any 4 year Business/Engineering course.
• At least 1 years work experience, preferably in Purchasing or any Supply Chain related field.
• Familiar with purchase variances and participate in cost reduction program.
• Excellent business network and supplier contracts from shipping industry is highly desirable.
• Computer literate
• Organized and methodical
• Keen on details
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Good negotiation and communication skills
