Job Qualification:
Must have purchasing experience or equivalent.
Ability to manage tasks with less supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
Ability to contribute and work cooperatively in a team environment with our internal and external contacts. Extensive organizational skills and the ability to provide and maintain accurate data.
Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel.
Must be organized, keen to details and can meet the deadlines. Report activities to superior.
Job Specification:
Effective canvassing and supplier sourcing.
Have a thorough checking on supplier's proposal such as credit terms, specifications and identify supplier who offers cheapest price without sacrificing the quality.
Analyze and evaluates the quotation and forward to immediate superior for final checking and approval. Provide follow up for overdue and incorrect deliveries, including the review of back orders.
Provide assistance for resolution of vendor issues. Updates vendor records and price masterlist.
Work collaboratively with team members Timeliness for all purchases and requests based on date needed. Obtain vendor quotes for all purchases and include detailed canvassed sheet.
Must be organized.
Safekeeping of samples and document filing.
Perform related duties and special projects, as assigned.
