Job Description
Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Purchasing Engineer to join our Purchasing Engineering Department based in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.
The Purchasing Engineer is a member of the New Project Management Section that is responsible in new model introduction and local supplier management.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in technical drawing, and project management.
Your role and responsibilities:
Provides technical support and guidance to suppliers
Conducts supplier visit and audit
Review work operations and manage supplier improvement activities
Handles supplier parts tracking team
Communicates with suppliers, and working group
In-charge supplier risk management

You have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
You maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.

Minimum Qualifications
Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Relevant experience in lean manufacturing, automotive parts & process is an advantage
Has knowledge in technical analysis and technical drawing
Basic knowledge in CAD (2D or 3D) data is an advantage
Ability to coordinate with a diverse range of personalities and groups
Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Organizational skills, detail oriented
