Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Purchasing Buyer to join our Purchasing Department based in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines.
The Purchasing Buyer is a member of the Local Parts Section that ensures materials needed are bought into the company, in the right volume and at the right time, to meet the company's requirements and conducts research to identify reliable suppliers and coordinate requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in coordinating with suppliers, manage contracts and ensure quality purchased items.
Your role and responsibilities:
Conduct sourcing and price review of local parts requirements from manufacturing based on competitive price and on time delivery
Identify and coordinate with reliable suppliers
Conduct cost management and financial risk management
Facilitate biddings and price negotiations.
Strengthen cost reduction activities and process improvement activities
Coordination with Purchasing Regional Office
