Job Description
Purchasing Assistant source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations. Roving to all shops to monitor and update inventory. Inventory record and retail sold. Assist the purchasing officer
Responsibilites
Roving to all shops for inventory and stocks checking
Monitor and Update inventory record and retail sold
Assist to all the task of purchasing officer
Do the pending task of purchasing officer when on leave/absent
Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary for all shops. Once a Month
Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
Monitor and expedite orders to minimize delays and ensure compliance with agreed-upon delivery schedules.
Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance through effective negotiations, supplier consolidation, and alternative sourcing strategies.
Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or pricing discrepancies with suppliers.
Stay updated on the latest beauty and wellness trends, technologies, and industry developments.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and emerging demands.
Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to source high-quality materials and equipment.
Updating fixed asset, Retail Sales and Tally on hand for all shops
Assists with deliveries
Product sourcing if needed
Uploading receipts and Monthly orders with cost
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required.
Previous experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in the relevant management software programs.
Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Great organizational and planning skills.
The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
The ability to follow client specifications.
Excellent networking and time management skills.
Strong knowledge of beauty treatments, procedures, and trends.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Suit (Word, Sheets)
Has experience in Beauty Industry
