Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for ordering of materials, supplies and/or other equipment, services and the follow through with suppliers on delivery.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Review and verify requisitions orders to verify accuracy, terminology, specifications and purpose of the request.
2. Compare prices, specifications and delivery dates in order to determine the best price among potential suppliers.
3. Ensures proper selection of vendors and places orders.
4. Preparation of purchase order and send it to suppliers.
5. Ensures that all materials are delivered or services are rendered on schedule date.
6. Immediately contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
7. Ensures responding to requester and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellation.
8. Local outsourcing of suppliers with different sources.
9. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
> Graduate of any 4 year business related course
> With at least 2-3 years experience in Purchasing Operation
> Knowledge on Purchasing Operations
> Attention to detail; Can work with minimal supervision; Team Player
> Can follow instructions accurately
> Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
