We are immediately hiring for
PURCHASING ASSISTANT
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree graduate of Management and/or any related courses
At least two (2) years working purchasing experience preferably in the shipping industry or the like
Must have an experience in assisting department heads in sourcing and coordinating with suppliers
Must be highly computer literate using Microsoft office, and/or any related software applications, familiarity with SAP system is a plus.
Strong communication skills
Willingness to work additional hours as needed
CAN START IMMEDIATELY
Responsibilities:
Contact vendors to confirm purchase order details
Log all order receipts and confirmations
Cross-reference product deliveries with purchase orders
Collect and fulfill requests for office supplies
Track and monitor purchases, from initial order to delivery
Prepare monthly reports listing all purchases, returns and related costs
