Role Overview
The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring generator spare parts, marine spare parts, Drydocking materials, construction materials, equipment, and related services required for ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented male & female professional with strong vendor management skills, solid knowledge of technical spare parts, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase generator spare parts, marine engine spare parts, Drydocking materials, construction materials, and others
Evaluate and compare supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and secure the best value for the company
Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers while developing new vendor partnerships
Monitor purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely and accurate supply to project sites and warehouses
Coordinate closely with project managers
Ensure all procured items comply with technical specifications and project requirements
Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
Qualifications:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic procurement documentation
Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
