JOB PURPOSE
 
Good Cup Coffee's Purchaser (Male) ensure that an organization obtains the goods and services it needs to operate efficiently and effectively, while also minimizing costs and maintaining high standards of quality. Performs errands and coordinate with other office mates.
 
Purchasing Tasks:
Perform day to day purchasing and basic logistics related activities to ensure timely delivery of imported and locally sourced items
Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
Follow and enforce the company's procurement policies and procedures
Review, compare, analyze, and recommend approval of products and services to be purchased
Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
Provide timely update on pending orders/deliveries to all concerned parties
Identify possible areas for improvement to reduce cost (e.g payment terms, incoterms, delivery cost etc.)
Provide management with reports on inventory status
Assist in audits and general ledger reconciliation
Research and evaluate prospective vendors
Maintain and update item and vendor database
Maintain good supplier relations and negotiate contracts.
Continuously challenge suppliers on their existing prices to generate savings
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
At least 1 year of experience as a Purchasing/Procurement Officer
Preferably with experience in a manufacturing industry
Effective negotiation, communication, decision-making and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Male
With motorcycle (gasoline and maintenance will be provided)
