What you'll be doing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for property development projects, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and asset management
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Perform financial analysis and forecasting to support informed decision-making by management
Collaborate with project managers and other teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
Assist with the preparation of budgets and monitor project costs against budgets
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure all accounting-related documentation and records are properly maintained and stored
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
At least 3 years of relevant experience in property or real estate accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with local tax and regulatory requirements for the real estate industry
