PROJECT SURVEYOR
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct and oversee land and construction surveys for infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects.
Interpret project drawings, plans, and legal documents.
Perform accurate measurements of land features, boundaries, and construction sites using GPS, total  stations, and other survey equipment.
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and documentation.
Ensure all surveying work complies with legal standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to provide data and support project planning and execution.
Manage field crews and subcontractors, ensuring efficient work practices.
Maintain and calibrate survey instruments.
Resolve discrepancies between plans and site conditions.
Monitor project progress and report on issues affecting timelines and costs.
Perform such other functions / tasks that maybe assigned to him/her from time-to-time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certification or licensure (e.g., RICS, PLS, CST, or equivalent) is preferred.
2+ years of experience in land or construction surveying.
Proficiency with surveying instruments (e.g., GPS, total stations, levels) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center).
Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
