PROJECT NURSE (for Palawan Project)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides emergency and palliative care and treatment to employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview, and health consultation, dispensing of medicine and such;
Assist and monitor employee's health condition, and maintain and secure its medical records with strict confidentiality;
Facilitate and coordinate annual medical examination of all employees;
Assess (pre-employment) medical examination results and coordinate status/evaluation with recruitment, and interpret and evaluate diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates;
Facilitate and perform health counselling, and promote wellness thru health education program which includes work related illnesses in the workplace;
Conduct inventory of medicines and medical other supplies;
Participate in the maintenance of occupational health and safety by giving suggestion in the improvement of working environment affecting the health and well-being of the workers;
Maintain a reporting and records system, internal and external as required by the standard; which includes incident/illness report, annual medical report using form DOLE/BWC/HSD/OH-47, and monthly illness statistic report to MGB;
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may assigned from time to time integrating occupational safety and health.
