Job Responsibilities
Oversee, guide and actively support the development and implementation of an effective H&S Management system across the project.
Ensures the H&S system is adequately communicated, maintained and compliant with the client requirements and all legal and regulatory legislation.
Ensures that COVID-19 protocols are well implemented and monitored.
Provides first aid treatment to clients suffering from minor injuries, burns, cuts, bruises and abrasions.
Provides stabilization, resuscitation and other life support / First aid measures for injuries and illnesses.
Operates various equipment and machines for emergency situations, response and airway management.
Assess and stabilizes conditions to improve vital functions of the patient utilizing common sense and good clinical judgment which do not require physician's evaluation according to establish emergency guidelines.
Ensures proper care of casualties and establishes procedures to be followed in the event of serious injuries such as a means of obtaining prompt medical and ambulant services.
Coordinates and informs the Health, Safety Department on major injuries and cases attended.
Administers and dispenses medications as appropriate from approved list of medications and with proper instructions on how to take it.
Identifies and plans clinical materials, supplies and equipment that are required and raises requisition when needed.
Collect all data and statistics regarding health standards, medical audits and injury regarding injury reporting.
Updates the monthly emergency medical reports.
Prepares weekly and monthly first aid report including man hour lost, lost time accident, medicine consumptions, medicine stocks and medicine requisition.
Setting compliance objectives and standards of service, and ensuring targets are achieved for all H&S functions.
Coordinates activities required to meet and HS standards: develop technical procedures, work instructions, inspection points programs, technical specification for procuring, material reception programs, etc.
Qualifications
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:
OHNAP Licensed Nurse/Experience Safety Officer in Construction Industry
3 to 5 years' experience in Construction settings
