This position is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning responsibilities, and managing schedules and resources to ensure timely completion of assigned projects
Manages various IT infrastructure projects from Scope Requirement, Vendor Selection until Implementation
Requires solid infrastructure skills to gain credibility and manage multiple work streams and complex projects.
Must have a technical background and understand infrastructure underpinnings of a complex environment supporting the entire campus community
Must be capable of managing multiple projects, multiple environments and the details inherent in the setup of those environments (software, vanilla installs, VMs, custom software configurations) both local and in remote locations.

Must have experience in managing medium to large and complex IT Infrastructure projects, with at 1000 endpoint and network devices in the scope of work
Must have working experience on network, connectivity and server room components
Have set up Disaster Recovery and / or Data Center site is a an advantage
Expert hands on knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the right questions to ask
Ability to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Excellent planning and organization ability
Excellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
Excellent management and leadership qualities
Ability to make important decisions under pressure
This is not a technical hands-on role. However, prior experience is required in order to develop a detailed working
Bachelor's degree in computer science and information technology or related courses
At least 5-8 solid years of IT Infrastructure project management
Underwent a formal Project Management training is an advantage
Understanding of the ITIL framework is an advantage
Assessing the requirements of the project
Analyzing different options and recommending the most suitable and most economically feasible option for the project
Developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Preparing cost estimates of IT infrastructure
Keeping a check on the budget and ensure that budget limits are not breached
Formulating procedures and policies for optimum utilization of IT infrastructure resources in the company
Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Supervising and coordinating with IT staff, consultants, vendors and suppliers
Meeting with managers of different departments for feedback and assessment
Planning and supervising installation of IT infrastructure in the company
Making sure that the infrastructure development project is completed within the given time frame
Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
