PURPOSE:
The Design Team Project Manager handles and manages the design team. Ensures every task, request and project is done on time, and with correct information & quality. Responsible in communicating ideas effectively to all those involved.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define the project's scope and determine resource availability.
• Set realistic estimates and evaluate the design team's capability
• Develop clear and straightforward plans that motivate the team members to reach their full potential, and steer them through a clear path to the final goal.
• Consistently monitor progress and status of on-going projects
• Maintain effective communication and keep the people involved up to date.
• Meticulously and intuitively identify and evaluate potential risks or at least, minimize their impact.
• Handles request from all business functions
• Maintain high-level responsibility, ensuring that protocols and guidelines are followed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field
• With good work ethics and can manage tight deadlines
• With good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Good ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Must be comfortable with working in a multi-cultural setting, and should be proactive in articulating and expressing professional opinions with their foreign counterparts
• Knowledge in AGILE management
• Experienced in project planning, risk management, conflict management and people management, having worked with technical teams and driving initiatives/work across multiple areas from solution development perspective
• Must have good design knowledge and profound understanding of the illustration process
• Knowledgeable with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Animate, Acrobat etc) and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
