A Project-Incharge is responsible for overseeing the entire execution of a project-ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, resource management, and coordination between site operations and management. They act as the overall leader at the project site when no dedicated Project Manager is present.
 
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans.
Implement operational plans, quality plans, inspection/test plans, and safety programs.
Define and develop project strategies aligned with client requirements.
Site Management
Lead and supervise all site activities and operations.
Ensure proper installation and construction in line with approved layouts.
Conduct pre-mobilization inspections with design and safety officers.
Resource & Procurement Coordination
Prepare and submit material requisition slips for tools, materials, and equipment.
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure conformance of materials and services.
Assign personnel to project phases and monitor manpower allocation.
Monitoring & Reporting
Prepare daily accomplishment and progress reports.
Track project performance against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Submit punch lists if the site is not ready for handover.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce construction safety and health programs.
Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in construction, architectural/ project management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills: Strong leadership, resource management, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering designs, construction standards, and safety protocols.
Coordination: Skilled in liaising between site teams, management, and clients.
