SANTOS LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is urgently in need on one (1) PROJECT-IN-CHARGE.
 
SUMMARY: Manages and leads the assigned scope of works of the projects assigned to him/her. Helps in the implementation of the Project Operational Plan, Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and Project Construction Safety and Health Program.
 
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Help prepare the Project Operational Plan which is the main planning, monitoring and control tool of the Operations.
Act as the Officer In charge when Project Manager is unavailable.
In charge of the implementation of the assigned permanent scope of works of the Project Operational Plan according to the contract documents especially contract, plans and specification
Responsible for the controls associated to the identified risks of the assigned scope of works of the project
Direct and manage the assigned sub-contractor's works safety, quality and construction/procurement schedule.
Coordinate with the Customer's representative on matters related to the assigned scope of works of the project.
Prepare and submit project accomplishment reports.
Prepare the supporting documents for billing based on the approved payment schedules.
Help in the implementation Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan, and Project Construction Safety and Health Program.
Direct workers and evaluate actual manpower loading against plan.
Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, contractors and consultants and update all parties on project progress.
Supervise field inspection activities of manufacturing site construction, welding, NDT examinations and pressure testing and prepare daily inspection reports.
Perform other duties in relation to primary function as assigned.
 
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
A) Education:
Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
Must have knowledge on Construction Management;
Must have knowledge on local building codes, regulations, and construction standards;
B)     Experience & Competencies:
With at least 5 years of supervisory experience in Project Management
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
