PROJECT IN CHARGE CIVIL ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises and coordinates all aspects in different phases of the project. From the pre-construction stage, construction stage up to post construction phase. Provides leadership and directs all groups involved in the success of the project.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Site supervision under the supervision of Project Manager.
2. Prepares complete report that will update head office about status of issues/concerns and recommended resolution developed with the site team.
3. Reviews the Project plans and ensures project implementation.
4. Oversees all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
5. Coordinates with other department in order to resolve any concerns that they may help.
6. Promotes and maintains health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed.
7. Maintains regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project.
8. Communicates with subcontractors, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Team and others involved in the project.
9. Manages and controls the deliverables commitment of admin/sub-contractors.
10. Studies plans and specifications to determine appropriate construction methodologies and procedures.
11. Prepares Monthly Progress billings and also for nominated sub-contractors.
12. Turn-over and preparation of project close-out.
13. Develops and implements quality control programs.
14. Evaluates construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using modern technological methods.
15. Establishes meaningful relationship with relevant authorities.
OTHERS:
1. Accepts any other task as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor in accordance to the need of the department.
2. Implements serious housekeeping program.
3. Attends to training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional and technical proficiencies.
4. Use of judgment and ability to solve problems efficiency.
5. Planning and estimates.
6. Prepares shop drawings and Basic autocad skills.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education: B.S. Civil Engineering
Experience: 10 years work experience in construction industry With CE PRC Licensed
Other Skills:
Good in oral and written communication skills
Good in Microsoft Office applications
Analytical and Thinking skills
Flexible and adaptable
Resourceful and hardworking
