Scope Of Activities
Fluor Consultants BV is focused on developing long term relationships with customers in revamping, debottlenecking and expanding the production capacity of their existing facilities in the process Industry in the South West of the Netherlands. The Rotterdam and Bergen op Zoom offices provide the full project execution services: from conceptual engineering through construction and commissioning support. Fluor has together with Stork (a Fluor company) the unique market capacity to offer integrated solutions to our clients. This includes fabrication, modularization, construction and maintenance.
The project engineer coordinates the activities between the engineering disciplines to ensure timely completion of all activities and deliverables during the various stages of multi-discipline projects. The project engineer reports to the project manager.
Depending on the of the project and complexity, the project engineer may act as project manager reporting to the operations manager or program manager. The projects may vary in and nature, but are mainly in the area of small to mid- capitals works, plant engineering and revamp type works.
Besides project execution activities the project engineer may support the development of competitive proposals, man-hour and capital cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
. Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Policies
. Develop and maintain an appropriate execution strategy
. Coordinate the activities between the engineering disciplines to ensure that schedules and budgets are being met
. Ensure technical integrity of products
. Maintain client relation
. Execute the project by delivering the right quality within budget and schedule
Basic Job Requirements
Proven Experience
. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function with an engineering contractor, construction contractor, vendor of packaged units or engineering department of an oil, gas or chemical organization
. Experience in the food industry or energy transition is an advantage.
Minimum Requirements
. Good communication and leadership skills
. HTS/TU education level
. Willingness to travel.
