JOB SUMMARY:We need an experienced leader who can take command of site operations, someone who is capable of sound decision-making, with management skills and technical knowledge. The Project Engineer monitors the construction schedule and balance of quantities of the project. He ensures proper utilization of manpower, equipment and materials. He constantly coordinates with the team and other stakeholders to achieve timely completion and cost efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare pre-construction requirements
Conduct pre-construction orientation to all project employees and subordinates
Prepare revision of the projected S-Curve for implementation, projected equipment utilization schedule, projected manpower schedule, projected material estimates
Maintains project schedule by monitoring work-in-progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing the design, specifications, planning and scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to recommend actions.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures and Code of Conduct.
Coordinates with the liaison officer for preparation of client requirements such as progress billings.
Approve and verify subcontractor accomplishment billings, daily time records, site material issuances, fuel issuances, daily weather chart records.
Monitor and follow-up repair and maintenance issues of project-assigned equipment and requested materials
Recommend, implement and evaluate project needs and site policies
Perform other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:·
Licensed Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Graduate with at least 5 years related construction work experience
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal relationship skills
Good moral character
Good leadership skills with good decision-making ability
