What You Will Do in Your Role
You will work with the team to ensure positive margins/good profitability, manage new programs/projects that are coming into the plant, manage product/production line transfer, and support capacity expansion.
1. Main plant contact of the following
• For new projects - BU Product/Program/Project lead
• For product/line transfer - Transferring/Receiving plant's Program/Project lead
2. Communicate to the team in the plant the program/project status or milestones.
3. Initiate PCN (Process/Product Change Notification) for changes related to the following:
• Product Transfer
• Capacity Expansion
• Supplier Change
4. Improvement of LGM% (Landed Gross Margin) performance
• Monitor respective LGM% performance of assigned product family
• Work with the team for LGM% improvement activities
5. Raise PAR (Project Authorization Request)
• For new part numbers that the plant does not have the capability
• Tooling for capacity increase of specific configuration
6. Coordinating with NPI team regarding the labor costing for new products
7. Work with NPI/sample team for EV, DV and PV sample build
8. Ensure that the new part numbers' material master is fully set-up in SAP
9. Work with MIE/MEE for machines/tooling readiness
• Monitor the PR/PO and delivery of the machines/tooling
• Coordinate the electrical rating of the incoming machines and align with the plant's existing supply
Ensure material readiness.
• Work with NPD Sourcing/Plant Buyer the quotation for new components
• Components set-up in SAP
10. Work with plant OE team for the line location and lay-out
11. Purchase of additional machine/tooling to support the ramp in demand as needed.
12. Coordinate the transfer of documents from the transferring plant to the respective team members.
13. Supports 1 Product Family. This will vary depending on the project's magnitude.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing operation working discipline and experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (EE/ECE/ME/COE/IE)
• Experience in project/program management
