Job Summary
The Project In-Charge directs, manages, and leads the assigned scope of work of the projects assigned to him.
Responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the assigned project. He will plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, and conferring with management.
Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
Determines project specifications, client requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies, preparing cost estimates, etc.
Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
Adhere to project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems under tight schedules and extreme pressure.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing job site accomplishments and reporting to management.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
Licensed Civil Engineer
Proven working experience as Project In Charge in a Construction setup
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
With project management and supervision skills
Decision-making ability and leadership skills
Time management and organizational skills
Able to exemplify leadership by creating a harmonious and productive teamwork
