Job Description
Supporting Project Manager/Project Coordinator on administering the project.
Secure new contracts / project / tenders.
Conduct site inspection and scoping of works.
Prepares cost estimates, technical specifications, basic AutoCAD drawings and bill of quantities for building works/maintenance works.
Responsible for preparing quotations for manager's approval and submission to client.
Prepare and gather all necessary documents for tender submission. This includes developing of method statement, HSE requirements, timeline, organization chart, project portfolio, project risk assessment and other documents.
Convey procurement strategy and propose refinements / improvements to Project Manager/Project Coordinator to raise material requisition for material ordering.
Support procurement coordinator to ensure material is accurate and on site on time.
Work closely with on-site team to provide support for ad hoc work and change of work scope.
Prepare cost control and monitoring report.
Prepare costing report upon completion of work/project.
Ensure compliance with relevant ISO and company standards or objectives (Quality control).
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor
Possess excellent negotiation and coordination skills and able to work in fast paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and verbal in order to liaise effectively with other professionals.
Preferably Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (Civil / Construction) OR other qualifications in relevant field.
